Machine
Overview:
The PUB-1V is a powerful 1-Group espresso machine packaged in
a compact space saving size measuring only 15" wide. It features
4 programmable/automatic dosing settings with manual override,
operated by a digital control pad and microprocessor. Hot water
tap and a single steam wand. Built-in pressure gauge. Powered
by an electric Procon motor.
The large 6.5 liter boiler (largest in the industry) requires
only 1500 watts and 120 volts making it efficient to set-up and
maintain.
Features:
- Volumetric electronic programmable dosing espresso machine
with digital control pad and microprocessor.
- Four cups size selections including continuous brewing and a
stop button.
- Groups made with press-forged brass and chrome plated, with
vertical infusion chamber and pressurisation system.
- Boiler in copper equipped with transversal heat exchangers
and front injectors.
- Spring taps for hot water and steam; one 360° swivelling
steam nozzle, one 360° swivelling hot water nozzle with anti-splash
device.
- Pre-infusion: Immediately prior to the brewing process, a blast
of hot water at 1 Bar of pressure is sprayed atop the coffee grinds
to cover the coffee surface. This guarantees that the brewing
process will distribute evenly throughout the handle and flow
into the cups uniformly.
- Thermal stability: In order to maintain a constant temperature
in the coffee groups, hot water from the boiler is circulated
throughout the group heads on a continues basis. Empty coffee
handles should be left on the groups when not in use so they adapt
to the same temperature.
